Looking for a studio or 1 BR for rent in Chicago with budget up to $1200

Hi Everyone,

I'm a self employed working professional, I'm a house painting contractor. I'm clean, but not unreasonable nor demanding. I have been sober and involved in various recovery communities and men's groups and been in therapy since 2014. I pay rent on time and usually early. I've never had landlord or serious roommate issues, I have personal references who can vouch for my integrity and reliability.

I'm looking for a studio or 1 BR for rent in Chicago with budget up to $1200. I am open to having roommates but must be clean, sober (or only drinks ocassionally), non smoker and has a job. Ideally, I want to only room with roommates who share similar life history and values as me. Please comment or message me if you are interested or have space available.
